Training for Scribes
Dear Parent Volunteers,
Our Reader, Scribe & Prompter Training Session for this term is scheduled for Wednesday 19th February 2025 from 12:30 – 15:30. The training will be online (MS Teams).
Please note: Participants will be required to submit a copy of their ID document as well as a copy of their highest qualification online, when they register on the day of the training. These are used strictly for verification purposes only.

CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATION: WEDNESDAY 12TH FEBRUARY 2025.
Please note the following:
-All readers/ scribes/ prompters MUST be in possession of a valid WCED training certificate
-Readers/ scribe/ prompters for learners up to Grade 9 must have a matric certificate
-Readers/ scribes/ prompters for Grade 10 - 12 learners must have a tertiary qualification
-Participants should (preferably) be 20 - 65 years of age. If younger or older, they must be screened and approved by the school principal
-Participants will receive a certificate once they have successfully completed the training (including the online register on the day of the training and the post-test).
-Certificates are valid for two years from the date of training
